APNIC and ITU support Internet infrastructure development

Beginning in 2014, APNIC and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will collaborate on a two-year capacity building project to support IPv6 deployment in the Asia Pacific.

Workshops will be held at different locations around the region to help networking engineers in developing economies enhance their skill set to facilitate a smooth transition to IPv6 on a local, national, and regional level.
