prop-049: IANA policy for allocation of ASN blocks to RIRs

Dear colleagues

The APNIC EC (Executive Council) endorsed the proposal "prop-049: IANA
policy for allocation of ASN blocks to RIRs" at its meeting on 13
December 2007. Minutes from this meeting will be available after they
have been adopted at the January 2008 EC meeting.

This proposal is a global policy proposal; therefore, before this
policy can be implemented it must be adopted by all Regional Internet
Registries.
