Mr. MH Billy Cheon is an assistant manager of IP Address Management Team in KRNIC (Korea Network Information Center) of NIDA (National Internet Development Agency), where he has worked over 5 years.
He graduated from Computer Science of Kyung-Nam University in Korea, and also completed his general education at College of San Francisco in U.S.A.
Mr. Cheon has also served as one of the national IT experts in Korea. He has planned an annual Internet conference, KIOW (Korea Internet Operation Workshop) to promote Korea ISP business since 2001.
As to the international activities, he had co-hosted 18th APNIC Open Policy Meeting, and cooperated with various international organizations such as APNIC (Asia Pacific Network Information Center), APIPv6TF(Asia Pacific IPv6 Task Force) and etc.
Considering Mr. Billy's experiences for the past, it's right time to give him a chance to serve as APNIC EC, and I believe that he will do great.
