Effective address management

This short tutorial discusses the important aspects and best current practice for Internet resource management. It provides an overview of current Internet registry policies, procedures for obtaining and managing IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, autonomous numbers and reverse DNS delegations. The presentation will include examples and demonstrations, and will encourage questions and discussion.

The target audience includes people responsible for managing IP addresses, DNS operations and data networks in general, or for those interested in an overview/update of address management practices.

This session will run for three hours and a light meal will be included.
