DNS / DNSSEC Deployment

When: Tuesday 4th September
Who: Presented by Champika Wijayatunga

The Domain Name System (DNS) is a critical part of Internet infrastructure and the largest distributed Internet directory service. DNS translates names into IP addresses, which are needed for all Internet services requiring data transfer, such as web navigation and email delivery.

This tutorial will include an overview of DNS, nameserver configuration, managing forward and reverse zones, and security mechanisms such as TSIG and DNSSEC.

This session is designed for network engineers, network planners, systems administrators, and anyone who is involved in administering network operation centres.
