Presentation: Dispatch a staff proposal by KRNIC

Cooperative with APNIC Promotion Plan

1. The objectives are:

• To smoothly acquire IP address space to allocate for KRNIC ISP membership.
• To grasp Internet registry trend.
• To promote corporative through human resources exchange between both Institutions.
• To practice business for working for management of Internet resources allocation and assignment.

2. Cooperative Methods are :

1. To provide APNIC education not to occur any problems in domestic Internet resources allocation management.
2. KRNIC staff dispatching for practicing business of APNIC Internet resources allocation and assignment management.
3. To strengthen contacts for enabling mutual communications.

3. Details

A. APNIC Invitation for Education are planed like following :

• To provide education of APNIC policy, procedure and operational status to KRNIC ISP membership in KRNIC workshop terms at once a year

B. Center's Staff Dispatch (proposed)

• Site : APNIC
• Number of Staff : 1
• Terms : Apr. 1- Jun. 30, 2000. ( during 30 days )

• Traveling expenses and business operational Fees of staff dispatch are in charge of KRNIC ( Laws of Business Trip, clause 12 )
• The other fees needed on staff dispatch are paid based upon laws of business trip.

• To support to practice Internet address resources allocation and assignment management business in accordance with an intern staff.
• To provide space and materials for business.

• English communicative skills required
• Should wish to work at IP address Management Team for min 1 year
• Manager level's recommend for below 5th level staff
• Recruit personal after revising candidates

4. Future Plans are:

• Dec. 12, 1999: To Suggest Cooperative with APNIC Promotion Plan by e-mail, nic-discuss@apnic.net.
• Jan. 20, 2000: To be completed discuss on Cooperative with APNIC Promotion Plan.
• Feb. 15, 2000: To select candidates dispatch staff.
• Feb. 27 - Mar. 1, 2000: To provide APNIC education in APRICOT2000 period.
• Mar. 1, 2000: To be completed select dispatch staff and announcement.
• Mar. 5, 2000: To be completed conference with APNIC about details.
• Apr. 1- Jun. 20, 2000: Dispatch working at APNIC
