Bulletin 4

The APNIC 38 Conference brings together Internet and networking experts from the Asia Pacific region to network with colleagues, attend plenaries and tutorials, and discuss policies.

Countdown to APNIC 38

Less than a month to go to! The workshop week starts on 9 September. There are still a few places in the Advanced MPLS and Network Security workshops so register now!

NOTE: The conference week is held during the busy Brisbane Festival 2014 period, so be sure to book your accommodation now. Book before the 15 August to benefit from the Accor Hotels discounted accommodation rates.

For those of you who need a visa, time in running out. We encourage you to apply now.

Final CFP submission is 29 August

We are finalizing the conference program. You only have until 29 August to submit your proposal for the APNIC 38 Call for Papers. If you have content relevant to IPv6 deployment, transition, and operations or network security for example, submit your proposal now.

Final round proposal acceptance is on 5 September.

Talk to our Services Team

Book your Hostmaster consultation now for a confidential discussion about your Internet number resource issues or concerns, for example, how to request IPv4, IPv6 and AS numbers. These sessions are popular at APNIC Conferences and fill up quickly. All sessions are face-to-face and held in a closed room to maintain privacy and confidentiality.

NRO NC nominations close soon

Nominate your preferred candidate now for the vacant seat on the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC). Nominations close at 17:30 (UTC +10) on Friday, 15 August. Anyone can be nominated (except RIR staff), and you can nominate yourself if you'd like to.
