The APNIC 38 Conference brings together Internet and networking experts from the Asia Pacific region to network with colleagues, attend plenaries and tutorials, and discuss policies.

APNIC 38 starts next week!

Secure your place at APNIC 38 by registering online now! Spaces are limited, but there is still time to register for the Conference week at the Pullman Hotel. We've got an exciting lineup of Internet leaders participating. Have a look at the program for more information on what sessions to attend.

Remember, if you're attending the Workshop week, it will be held at the Saxons Training Facilities, Level 11, 300 Adelaide St, Brisbane.

Program highlights

Whether you are joining us on site or remotely, mark your calendars for the Technical Keynotes session on Monday, 15 September. It includes Internet experts Eric Vyncke, who will talk about the Internet of Things and security, Paul Vixie, who will talk about Source Address Validation Everywhere (SAVE or BCP 38), and APNIC's own Geoff Huston, who will present "Who's Watching".

Hear about the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 at the IPv6 Plenary "Duel on Dual Stacking" on Tuesday, 16 September. Joining Geoff and Eric are global experts John Berg from Cable Labs and John Jason Brzozowski from Comcast. Continue the discussion at the APIPv6TF and IPv6 Readiness Measurement BoF later that evening and hear about the latest IPv6 deployment activities from various economies.

Moderated by APNIC's Security Specialist, Adli Wahid, the Security track on Wednesday, 17 September will feature operators who will share their experiences and lessons learned from security incidents.

The popular Lightning Talks will be held on Thursday, 18 September. Stay tuned for the Call for Submissions. If you've thought about presenting at a future APNIC Conference, a lightning talk is a great place to start!
