Multicasting at APNIC 15

Many APNIC 15 sessions will be multicast live.

On Wednesday 26 February, multicast sessions will be available in English. On Thursday 27 and Friday 28 February, multicasts will be available in both Mandarin and English.

Please note that some networks do not offer multicast access. If you have trouble viewing the APNIC sessions, please check with your systems administrator or ISP.

Viewing the multicast sessions

If you have QuickTime player installed, then you should be able to view the sessions by simply clicking on the multicast icons in the program.

On some platforms, you may need to download the linked .sdp file to your hard drive and manually open it in QuickTime, RealPlayer, or one of the other Mbone clients listed below.

Mbone clients

Mash 5.2 is available for Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris. Older versions are also available for BSDi, HP-UX and IRIX.

For Mac OS X, MacTV is available.

Using Mbone clients

You will need to use your Mbone client to browse available SAP content. Select the APNIC item from the list to view the multicast sessions.
