Abstract

This course discusses Internet resource policies and procedures. It teaches course participants how to competently request and manage IP addresses, AS numbers, and reverse delegations. Some more advanced aspects of Internet resource management such as IPv6, reverse DNS, and Best Current Practices in IP address management will be included.

Intended audience

This course is aimed at those who are involved in Internet resource management at either at the operational and/or supervisory level. This includes interaction with APNIC and APNIC processes as well as an involvement and interest in policies and the policy procedure. The course is also useful for APNIC members keen to update their knowledge and for people intending to or interested in becoming APNIC members.
