APNIC to participate in SANOG IV

APNIC will take an active role at the upcoming SANOG (South Asian Network Operators Group) IV in Kathmandu, Nepal.

APNIC will take an active role at the upcoming SANOG (South Asian Network Operators Group) IV in Kathmandu, Nepal. APNIC will provide workshops and tutorials on topics including DNS/DNSSEC, Internet Routing Registries, and Internet resource management. On 26 July, APNIC will host a regional policy meeting. APNIC hostmasters will also be available to consult with APNIC Members attending SANOG IV.

Based on the popularity of previous meetings, organizers expect a large attendance from around the region. SANOG is also pleased to welcome participants from West Asia, as part of the newly established collaboration with the RIPE NCC.

The conference will also play host to the APCAUCE (Asia Pacific Coalition Against Unsolicited Commercial Email) meeting, which is expected to attract a great deal of interest.
