EC Nominations now open

Three positions on the APNIC Executive Council will be opened for election at APNIC 29 in Kuala Lumpur

Three positions on the APNIC Executive Council (EC) will be opened for election at APNIC 29 in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, 5 March 2010. The Executive Council represents the APNIC Membership and acts in the best interests of the organization.

The positions held by Akinori Maemura, Che-Hoo Cheng, and Ma Yan are all up for re-election. These three Members were all elected at APNIC 25 in Taipei, Taiwan on Friday, 29 February 2008.

Nominations are due by the close of business on Wednesday, 17 February 2010 at the latest (17:30 UTC+10 Brisbane time). Nominees do not have to be representatives of APNIC Members, but only APNIC Members may nominate and vote for candidates.

Nominations must be made using the online nomination form, which is available now from the APNIC 29 elections page
