APNIC will present on IP addressing issues at the 6th Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT) Policy and Regulation Forum for the Pacific from 6 to 8 August 2013 in Nadi, Fiji.

APT is an organization that fosters public policy discussions about the development of telecommunication services and information infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region.

One of the key objectives of the 6th Policy and Regulation Forum is to address key policy and regulatory concerns for the Pacific. APNIC Senior Policy Specialist, Adam Gosling, will present "IP addressing policies: what does this mean?" an overview of how the APNIC community responded to depletion of the IPv4 address pool and the need to encourage IPv6 adoption.

APNIC has actively participated in previous APT Policy and Regulation Forums by providing expert advice on key topics relevant to APNIC.
